Bruny Island Extract

The Island Rug collection consists of 12 limited edition hand knotted rugs that represent Australian islands with a unique volcanic story. Volcanic rock on each island rug is knotted in silk and designated a vivid fluoro colour to clearly communicate the explosive behaviour. Most of these islands are on the East coast of the continent as they are closer to the Magmatic Arc.

Each rug is made in Nepal by artisans. The wool and silk are hand died in Nepal to achieve a very specific colour spectrum.
